Hello, I’m
Yanire Ramos.
My career has been built around digital strategy, transformation and innovation, with experience across product and operations. It has taken me from founding a company to leading digital initiatives within global organisations.
My strength lies in making sense of challenges, defining a direction and staying involved through implementation, especially when something is still taking shape.
Things done with care and attention tend to turn out better.
Explore my career
1Digital strategy
Across new ventures and global organisations, my work has focused on defining digital priorities and deciding where to invest time and resources.
That means assessing opportunities, making decisions and aligning teams around a clear direction, with responsibility for seeing it through.
Leadership
Caring about results also means caring about how the team gets there. Staying close, listening and supporting delivery matter most when things get difficult.
High standards and difficult decisions are part of leadership. So is making sure you do not lose the people along the way.
AI & my work
My experience across operations and leadership, combined with an end-to-end understanding of the product lifecycle and hands-on delivery with AI, gives me a practical view of what AI can genuinely change inside an organisation.
It helps me see where AI can extend people’s capabilities, where roles and processes need to change, and where human judgement or specialist expertise still needs to remain central.
Innovation
Projects I have taken from concept to something real.
Different in purpose and scale, but all projects where I had direct ownership of the idea and what it became.
Virtual Lessons
Founded in Madrid
I created a real-time course booking business from the initial concept through product, operations and market development. It was recognised among Madrid's Best Startup Ideas and selected for Deloitte's startup accelerator.

Interface preview · Android version in development
A tailored AI assistant that makes lower-salt eating easier through personalised, everyday food choices, using UK government dietary guidance as a reference. An Android-only version is currently in development and is not yet available to download.
Next project →7CSV Preflight
A tool that checks data files before they are imported into another system. It works with CSV, a common format for sharing spreadsheet data, and includes extra checks for stock updates in ShipStation, a shipping platform. It spots errors and shows what has changed. Files stay on your device.

Four projects where I helped make the next stage happen.
Building a business, leading market digitalisation, driving a six-month delivery and taking a product from audit to delivery planning with AI.
Virtual Lessons · Building before the market was ready
Building an online learning business from an early idea
I founded Virtual Lessons before live online learning was established, with an initial budget of €10,000.
The starting point
The product, team, operations and route to market all had to be built from scratch.
The decisions
With limited resources, I prioritised what the business needed to launch.
My role
I defined the product and business model, set up operations and launched the business.
Outcome
Launched and operated in Spain, Argentina, Germany and China. Recognised among Madrid’s Best Startup Ideas and selected for Deloitte’s accelerator.
Yara International · Market digitalisation
Leading market digitalisation in a global organisation
Led digitalisation across the UK and Ireland, connecting local customer needs with the capabilities of a global organisation.
The challenge
The digital offer did not always reflect market needs. Local priorities needed support within the wider organisation.
How I worked
Worked across customers, commercial teams and the global digital organisation to identify shared needs and translate them into clear priorities.
What I moved
Introduced relevant digital solutions into the market and brought customer requirements into global development decisions, driving new or adapted capabilities.
Outcome
Onboarded up to 300,000 hectares, supporting the European goal of 1 million hectares. This work brought initiatives shaped by UK and Irish market needs into Yara’s corporate digital portfolio.
Smart Fertilizer · From product to operations
Driving a digital initiative to delivery in six months
I joined as Product Manager to deliver a digital initiative within six months.
The starting point
The deadline was fixed; the team, management capacity and technical capabilities were incomplete.
What I drove
I defined key roles, supported recruitment, shaped the product experience and coordinated algorithm improvements and delivery.
Outcome
Delivered a complete, fully revised product in six months, shifting from B2B to B2C with a new pricing model. Responsibility expanded from Product Manager to Head of Operations, leading and managing the full team and operations.
Abaco Group · Current work · Product strategy
From product audit to strategy and delivery planning
An existing digital solution needed a clear direction and product structure.
The analysis
Reviewed the business proposition, customers, market, product, delivery model and organisational structure to establish a clear basis for the strategy.
Delivery planning
Assessed the team, skills and resources needed to deliver the product.
The direction
Defined a five-year SaaS strategy, product structure, operating model and roadmap aligned with the wider digital portfolio.
The product
Translated the strategy into requirements, user journeys and design decisions, making the proposed product tangible through AI-enabled prototyping.
Outcome
A five-year SaaS strategy and product proposition, made tangible through AI-enabled prototyping, with the team, skills and resources required for delivery assessed.

History, business & digital
My route into technology was not technical. I studied Tourism & Business and History before specialising in Digital Analysis. That mix still influences how I approach technology: context, behaviour and the business around a solution matter as much as the solution itself.
